I'll have to post pics soon. I keep meaning to get a shot of her in the morning before work, but we always seem to be rushed. Bria likes to choose her own clothes, and lately she is all about dresses. She has to wear at least one dress ever day, and preferably two. She likes to layer. I think the most was jeans, a skirt, two dresses and a sweater. ask her what her style is and she'll tell you "shabby chic." She does not care if she matches. She loves her hair to be wild, and that girl will tolerate any degree of cold for the sake of looking good (or at least the way she wants to). I guess maybe I should make her wear clothes that match, or keep it to one or two layers, but it is such a fun thing every day to see what she's going to wear. I can't make her stop. It's too darn cute, and it makes her soooo happy!
Marissa on the other hand gets a little upset if her socks don't match. She is not big into dresses, although I have caught her doing a little twirl in one once in a while. She has learned the word same, which comes out kind of like "say-mees" (always as a plural) and she demands 'say-mees' for everything. Socks have to match, boots have to match, if possible her jacket will be 'say-mees' as Bria's. She's all about the coordination. And the funny thing is, I think Marissa's sames delight her just as much as Bria's unusual couture concoctions do her. Stick a pair of plain old brown socks on her and Rissa stands up, goose-stepping and sticking her feet way out, with her giant grin spread ear to ear, and proclaiming "Say-mees! Say-mees!"
Until I had two kids I never realized that two things that are completely different from each other could both, at the very same time, be absolutely perfect. It's a lesson gratefully learned.

Glad you took my advice. I just found this blog and it was fun to read. I like to hear about the kids antics!! Can't wait to read more!
And yes it is a great way to go back and see what you might like to scrap!!
I totally have a vision of a Bria page entitled "Shabby Chic"
I can't wait to scrapbook! I haven't got too many pictures that show the essence of Bria's style. Next week I will when it's warmer and I can stop making her wear pants and long-sleeved shirts (it's sooo not her)
